On the morning of September 6, Nanjing University's four campuses—Xianlin, Gulou, Pukou, and Suzhou—buzzed with excitement as they welcomed the new cohort of graduate students for the 2024 academic year. A total of 8,848 master's and doctoral studentsarrived on campus, marking the beginning of their advanced academic journey.
Tan Tieniu, Secretary of NJU CPC Committee and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, visite and greeted the new students. During his visit, Tan extended his heartfelt welcome to the incoming class, and expressed his appreciation to the faculty, staff, and volunteers.
In preparation for the new academic year, NJU has introduced a comprehensive orientation program to help the incoming Class of 2024 graduate students smoothly transition into campus life. Beginning on August 15, the university launched a series of educational courses and activities designed to support students as they embark on their graduate-level studies.
