From August 10 to 24, China-UK global scientific expedition on integrated circuit and advanced manufacturing, initiated by Nanjing University Undergraduate School, led by the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, and joined by the School of Integrated Circuits, featured faculty-student academic exchanges with the Cambridge University Engineering Department, aiming to broaden the disciplinary horizons of NJU undergraduates in electronic information. The program brought together 28 students from the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, the School of Integrated Circuits, Freshman College, and the "Feiyue Program".

During their stay in Cambridge, students engaged in project-based learning on interdisciplinary "AI + Electronic Information" topics through a blended teaching model of plenary lectures, small-class practical workshops, tutor group supervision, and thematic seminars. They also visited multiple teaching laboratories of the Cambridge University Engineering Department and had face-to-face exchanges with Cambridge students conducting summer research. Beyond the classroom, students experienced British culture under the guidance of two Cambridge students and made a weekend visit to the University of Oxford. On August 21, all groups successfully completed their final presentations, and the closing ceremony was held in the Cambridge Union Society Debating Chamber.

The program not only enhanced students' professional knowledge and practical skills, but also broadened their global perspectives through multicultural exchange, exerting a profound and lasting influence on the growth and development of NJU students.
