
基本简介
陆埮(1932.2.23-2014.12.3),江苏常熟人,1957年北京大学物理系本科毕业。1978年调入南京大学天文学系工作。连续当选为第五、六、七届全国人大代表。2003年当选中国科学院院士,现为中国科学院紫金山天文台研究员、南京大学物理系教授。
陆埮院士在粒子物理、理论物理、天体物理等研究领域成果卓著,至今已在国内外学术刊物上发表论文260余篇。1984年,首次研究奇异物质和奇异星的动力学行为,显示其极高的体粘滞性。1994年,首次提出脉冲星辐射的“代参数”概念。1997年,国际上刚发现伽玛暴的余辉不久,就研究了余辉物理的一些基本问题:提出了既适用于极端相对论,又适用于非相对论的余辉动力学演化的统一模型;揭示了一些伽玛暴的星风环境和致密环境,有力地支持了伽玛暴起源于大质量恒星塌缩的观点;研究了喷流状态下的伽玛暴余辉的光变规律,指出其光变曲线的变陡拐折不发生于火球膨胀的极端相对论时期、而应发生于转向非相对论时期;并对伽玛暴提出了可以避免“重子污染”的能源机制等。
