Professor Michael (Mike) Clinch is an influential industrial business leader with over 25 years of international experience in advanced materials and high-value manufacturing organisations. He is Managing Director of Innoval Technology Ltd, a specialist technology, innovation and sustainability consultancy business serving the global aluminium industry. With a proven track record of bringing innovative, sustainable and high integrity products to market across multiple sectors, including automotive, aerospace and healthcare, Mike’s technical expertise is complemented by his extensive innovation management, business planning and leadership skills. His passion for collaboration and developing high-performing teams, gained from years of experience operating at the interface between industry and academia, enables him to provide strategic insights to many leading organisations as a valued industrial advisor. In addition to his leadership role at Innoval, Mike is Senior Vice-President of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Visiting Professor of Materials Innovation and Sustainability at Loughborough University.
