1. Course Description
This course is designed to prepare current students with an understanding of the nature of administrative law in china. The course begins with the history of china’s administrative law. Topics covered in the course will closely connect with the basic concepts and the new development in china’s administrative law. Students need study administrative acts including administrative license, administrative penalty, administrative compulsion and other informal acts. Administrative Process Law and Administrative Litigation Law all studied in this course.
In order to understand administrative law in china, Students are expected to come to class prepared each week to discuss assigned cases and readings. Students will be expected to come to class prepared to discuss the readings in detail and should be ready for questions about the subjects in each class.
